I am a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 25 years of experience in helping people learn to cope effectively with emotions and live their best life. I treat adult clients coping with depression, grief, loss and work-related stress. I have advanced training in clinical health psychology, the application of the science of psychology to problems of health and illness. In particular, I am experienced at helping individuals and couples coping with cancer, heart disease, postpartum depression. and anxiety as well as grief and loss in pregnancy. I have written books, book chapters and journal articles for professionals on the practice of clinical health psychology.
I licensed in Connecticut but am able to provide services via telehealth in many different states because I have obtained an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) from the PSYPACT Commission.
